Refurbishments Leonards specialise in the management of refurbishments, small to large, this includes liaising with your insurers where required. Our aim is to complete works within your budget, Project Managing works ensuring all work is completed to the required standards, and getting the property back on the Market in good time for re-let.

Energy Performance Certificates

A current EPC is required before we can market a property, and must now be renewed during a tenancy reaching a minimum rating of an E.

A member of Leonards staff is a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and we can arrange for this to be done at a reduced cost.

Once completed an EPC is valid for 10 years

Gas Certificate

Every property with gas appliances must hold a current Gas Safety Certificate, this must be renewed annually. We can arrange this, and any other gas associated work – breakdowns, boiler/cooker installation

Electrical Certificate

A current Electrical Inspection Condition Report (EICR) is required for all rental properties. This tends to be valid for 3 or 5 years, this must be renewed as per the expiry date.

If any Portable Appliances have been supplied these must hold a current PAT Test Certificate.

Leonards can advise what you need and arrange to have the necessary certificates undertaken.
